FAQ

What are these packages?

These packages offer access to video tutorials, problem sets, and annotated solutions for Math 100 midterms from 2023. The videos are designed to help you learn how to initiate the problems and understand what problems are asking, so you can tackle them easily on your own exam. We offer a free version so you can get a taste of other packages.

What Happened in 2023?

In 2023, the UBC Math Department reintroduced midterms after a few years. The midterms took place in smaller classes, so as a result there are different versions of the midterm for different classes.

The questions are relatively at the same difficulty level, and you will see that several problems are very similar with just different parameter values.

When will I get the access to the videos?

For the Free Trial, the video link will be sent to you immediately upon form submission. However, for the Basic and Premium packages, please allow up to 6 hours for access to be granted.

* Please note that videos are still being recorded and added to the playlist. We will share each new video with you as soon as it’s released, and guarantee that all videos will be available at least 3 days before your midterm.

Can I upgrade my package after purchasing?

At the moment, we don’t have an automated upgrade process. However, feel free to contact us at info@learn4less.ca, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

How do I access the videos?

Videos are hosted on YouTube! The link to the playlist will be shared with you. For the Premium packages, please allow up to 6 hours for the videos to become available to you.

Can I ask questions if I don’t understand something in the videos?

Absolutely! Our mission is to make math easy for everyone, so please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have about the video content. We strive to be as responsive as possible, but please accept our apologies if our response time is slower than usual.

What is your refund policy?

Unfortunately, all purchases are final. Once you have access to the video packages, we are unable to offer refunds. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions before making a purchase, and we’ll be happy to help!

How can I make the most out of these packages?

To get the best results, we recommend first going over the problems on your own and thinking through how you would approach solving them. After attempting the problems, watch the videos to compare solutions and learn new strategies. This method will help solidify your understanding and improve your problem-solving skills.

Will the topics on my exam be exactly the same as those covered in 2023?

Not exactly. While many topics remain consistent, there have been slight adjustments to the syllabus and some differences in the timing of exams this semester. Rest assured, all the material in these videos will be relevant to your exam. The only topics not covered in this series are L’Hôpital’s Rule and Optimization.
